This page will constantly be updated for specific positions for those who wish to volunteer and intern with us. Volunteers are free to email us about what their interest is for our magazine, and how they want to volunteer or intern, if we do not list what fits their interest in the positions available.
Cartoonist
You will make cartoons on subjects about Nigerian literature and its history, and sometimes on public opinion, pop-culture, and politics.
Literary History Researcher
You will research and curate content about Nigerian literary history as short posts to be posted on our Instagram page or on Twitter, and so on.
Illustrator
Basically, your job will be to create feature images for posts that go online, and to work closely with other team members who might need your help.
Subeditor
You will be assigned specific editorial tasks by the Founding and Assistant Editors.
Please, if you are applying, make sure you’re right for the position you choose, especially if you shall be volunteering. We prefer that applicants already have access to, at least, the basic resources they need to be productive.
Sadly, we cannot afford to pay stipends for our interns and volunteers at this moment due to budget strains.
